History of the Name
Dora Robert’s Community Center was named in honor of  Dora Ann Nunn Griffin Roberts or Dora Roberts (1863-1953). Dora Roberts was an avid supporter of her community tirelessly, donating her time, energy, and financial support to those less fortunate than herself. It was because of her love of West Texas that Mrs. Roberts established the Dora Roberts Foundation that continues to fund grants to many of West Texas communities.

About the Community Center
The Dora Roberts Community Center provides a place for the community to come and hold social events, including weddings, banquets, training, and many more events.

Dora Robert’s Community Center is located in Comanche Trail Park and overlooks the lake to provide a stunning view from the Lake Room, and the Pavilion located outside of the community center. In addition your guests can also take part of the Comanche Trail Parks many features like the overlook of the spring, walking trails, and general park facilities.
