Mission (Parks & Recreation)

Within its annual operating budget, the Parks and Recreation Department is to operate the public’s parks and recreation facilities and to provide family-oriented recreational programming in an efficient and effective manner in order to contribute to the high quality of life of the citizens of Big Spring.

The Swimming Pool is open from late May through August of every year. Certified lifeguards trained in lifesaving techniques, First Aid, and CPR are on duty during all hours of operation.

Business Hours

	Mondays - Closed Tuesday through Sunday Open to the public from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. Tuesday-Wednesday Family nights open to the public from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Thursday-Friday-Saturday-Sunday Available for rental open for private parties from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Please Call (432)264-2376 for availability
