Mission (Parks & Recreation)
Within its annual operating
budget, the Parks and Recreation Department is to operate the public’s
parks and recreation facilities and to provide family-oriented
recreational programming in an efficient and effective manner in order
to contribute to the high quality of life of the citizens of Big
Spring.
The Parks Department provides improvements
and upkeep for parks and ball field facilities available for the
public's enjoyment. The Department strives to present
aesthetically pleasing areas through the maintenance of playground and
other recreational equipment, grounds maintenance, weed and litter
control, and other landscaping activities. |
