BRIDGE REHABILITATION SCHEDULED IN HOWARD COUNTY

ABILENE – On Monday,  April 16, 2018, TxDOT contractors will begin a bridge rehabilitation project on two Howard County bridges near Big Spring.  Contractors will start at the US 87 bridge over FM 700 before moving to the I-20 bridge over Union Pacific Railroad. Drivers should expect lane closures while repairs are being made to these structures.  The $1.3M project was awarded to Structural Technologies, LLC, of Columbia, MD. Work is expected to be completed by late fall.
